Aegis Therapies and you … making a difference

At Aegis Therapies, our mission is to improve the lives of the people we serve through compassion and innovation in healthcare. Our decades of experience and proven patient results have made us a leader in the industry. Just as valuable is our experience in quality improvement processes that help facilities enhance their clinical and operational results.

Aegis Census Advantage provides an excellent opportunity to implement exclusive industry-leading core and functional maintenance programs in your facility:

Freedom Through Functionality Module (FTF)

Our unique strength-building program developed in partnership with Nautilus® helps seniors regain strength and independence. This program has terrific benefits when used as restorative therapy and a senior wellness program.

Geriatric Enhanced Modalities (GEM)

Targeted toward health conditions common to seniors, this program strengthens patients’ neuromuscular and orthopedic abilities.

Rehabilitation Outcome Measure (ROM)

Allows facilities to measure the positive impact therapy programs. With a database of more than 3 million records, ROM provides accurate trending information to ensure resources are used to maximize patient care.

Balance Program

Enables therapists to incorporate their knowledge of strength and safety reactions with problem-oriented interventions. Compensatory strategies and environmental adaptations are developed to produce patient success and higher functional outcomes.

Dementia Program

Employs skilled services such as task analysis and Allen Cognitive Levels to provide therapists with virtual information linking the patient’s current functional and cognitive abilities to maximum performance skills

Pain Management

Designed to reduce the devastating impact of chronic pain and help patients resume a life that is as normal and pain free as possible.

Continence Management

Addresses bladder control problems through a comprehensive assessment of diet, medications, muscle strength, mobility and other factors. This program has been recommended by the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality as a first approach to handling the condition, versus the use of prescription drugs or surgery.
